Cookies Policy
Cookies & Browser Storage
What this site stores in your browser, why, and how you can control it.
Effective date: August 1, 2026
Last updated: August 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Stathmos Group LLP ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://stathmosgroup.com/ (the "Website"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They can be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by another provider whose service is embedded in the site), and "session" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" (remain for a set period).
2. Our Approach: Minimal by Design
We keep the Website deliberately light. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell or share data collected via cookies. We use two categories of cookies: those that are strictly necessary for the Website to function and stay secure, which are always active; and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, which run only if you accept them.
When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off, because the Website cannot work without them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Until you accept, no Google Analytics cookies are set.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use
Security and bot protection (strictly necessary). Our contact and quote forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused alternative to CAPTCHA provided by Cloudflare, Inc. When a page containing a form loads, Turnstile may set cookies and process technical signals from your browser (such as browser characteristics and interaction data) solely to distinguish humans from automated bots. Typical cookies include Cloudflare's challenge and clearance cookies (for example cf_clearance), which usually expire within a short period. More information is available in Cloudflare's privacy policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
Hosting and infrastructure (strictly necessary). Our hosting or content delivery infrastructure may set technical cookies needed for load balancing, security filtering, or serving the Website reliably. These contain no marketing information.
Analytics (optional — only with your consent). If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC), to understand how visitors use the Website — for example which pages are viewed and how people arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> (typically valid for up to two years) and processes technical data including a shortened IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. This data may be transferred to and processed by Google, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising and do not combine this data with other information that identifies you. See Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy for details.
Legal basis (where GDPR applies): strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functioning website, and consistent with the ePrivacy rules that exempt cookies which are essential to provide a service you request. Analytics cookies are used only on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Email Pixels
Separately from the Website, newsletters and follow-up emails we send may contain a small tracking image and measured links that tell us whether the email was opened and which links were clicked. This is described in Section 1 of our Privacy Policy. You can prevent this by disabling image loading in your email client or unsubscribing from our emails.
5. How to Control Cookies
You can accept or reject analytics cookies at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the Website footer; rejecting them stops Google Analytics from setting or reading its cookies. In addition, you can control and delete cookies through your browser settings — you can block all cookies, delete existing ones, or get a warning before a cookie is stored. Instructions are available for each major browser: Chrome (Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies), Firefox (Settings → Privacy & Security), Safari (Preferences → Privacy), and Edge (Settings → Cookies and site permissions). Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Website — in particular the contact forms — from working correctly.
6. Changes to This Cookie Policy
If we change the cookies we use — for example, by adding an analytics tool — we will update this policy, revise the "Last updated" date, and, where required by law, request your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.
