Effect Doctors runs premium IV-drip therapy, vitamin injections, blood diagnostics and weight-management programmes — clinical services delivered with hospitality polish, from London to Saudi Arabia. Digitally, that means one brand serving multiple regions, in multiple languages, with real medical booking behind every page. We built the whole platform from scratch on WordPress and WooCommerce.

The Challenge: One Clinic Brand, Many Markets
Healthcare content cannot be casually machine-translated, and regional regulation means the same treatment may be described, priced and booked differently per market. The build had to handle:
- Multi-region routing — visitors land on their market's site automatically (the Saudi visitor sees /sa/ in Arabic; London sees English)
- Genuinely bilingual content — Arabic is a first-class, fully RTL experience with its own medical copywriting, not a translation layer
- Clinical booking — every treatment page funnels to an appointment request handled by the clinical team
- Medical trust — a services catalogue that reads like a clinic, not a shop
What We Built
A Treatment Catalogue, Not a Product Grid
The heart of the site is the treatments library — IV drips from the Myers Cocktail to bespoke formulations, each with indications, ingredients and preparation guidance. Structurally it runs on WooCommerce's catalogue machinery; editorially it reads like a medical consultation, which is exactly the balance a healthcare platform needs to earn trust.

Booking as the Conversion Path
Nothing on the platform ends in a cart for its own sake — every journey converges on the appointment request, where the clinical team takes over. That one decision shaped the whole UX: fewer steps, mobile-first forms, and a booking flow that works identically in both languages.

Multi-Locale SEO
Each region publishes its own keyworded titles, descriptions and structured data in its own language — the Arabic pages rank for Arabic search intent rather than piggybacking on English pages. Paired with the search-focused content work the brand runs, the regional sites compete properly in their own markets.
The Technology Stack
- WordPress + WooCommerce — editorial flexibility for medical content with catalogue structure underneath
- Multi-region architecture — geo-detected market routing (/sa/ and beyond) from one codebase
- Full RTL Arabic experience — typography, layout mirroring and localised medical copy
- Appointment workflows — treatment-to-booking funnels feeding the clinical team
- Managed WordPress hosting — platform-level caching and staging for safe iteration
In our experience, WordPress earns its place in healthcare precisely because non-engineers can own the content: doctors and marketers keep treatment pages current without a deploy, while the WooCommerce platform layer keeps structure and booking logic intact.
